Thank you

And to quote my sister: They are an awesome bunch and thank you isn't enough. But I'm thankful for the men and women in my life that have served and are serving to defend and protect this country. All of these are related, unless otherwise noted:

The US Marines: My Dad (thank you Dad), Bryan
The Navy: Joel
The National Guard, serving in Iraq now: Shane, his Mom, his brother
The Army: Casey, Mark (church family)
The Air Force: Cody
The Coast Guard: Molly (church family)

Thank you isn't enough. My prayers for you all.

Thank you Dad

On this Veteren's Day, Thank you Dad for being one of "the few, the proud". You served with pride for a then grateful nation. I am hopeful we'll always be grateful and your grandchildren and great grandchildren will thank you and remember with pride as they get older.

Thank a Veteran today, and everyday

I know many Veterans, we all do. They are the reason I can go to church every Sunday and worship, they are the reason I can vote in every election, they are the reason I can drive a car, state my opinion, raise my children as I see fit, state my disagreement with the government, and the list goes on. Many of us don't get to see the "other side". We did when we traveled to Albania that had just come out of communism. One of the impressions that will always be with me is the line, long line, outside the US Embassy of Albanians trying to get a visa to come to America. Thanks Dad, Mike, uncles, brothers in law, nephews, and the list goes on. Thank a veteran.
