This Little Light of Mine

Is pretty small by the world's standards. It shines in this small group. What I do, say, live, has eternal ramifications in this group of people and that's a bigger job to me than running a country or a company or an organization. These are the ones God has given me to shine for and it matters for eternity. The four youngest do not know the Lord as their Savior. I've been praying Romans 10:1 for them.
So today, when the rest of the world is focused on Washington D.C. I'm going to be focused here, at home, praying my light shines in those God has given me. I'll have three little ones here today and our never grow up girl. It's supposed to be another beautiful day so we'll go outside and play. They'll "work":

and take naps: (after we sing Jesus Loves Me and This Little Light of Mine)

Well, they're supposed to take naps!

And enjoy the beautiful day God gave us! And I'll tell them God gave us such a beautiful day.

I'll greet my husband at the door with dinner, hopefully, cooking (and it won't be fish again!) since he works hard at a job he dislikes to take of us.
And I'll hug my never grow up girl and probably teach her another thing or two.

And by the looks of this, I have lots more work to do!

The verse I'm focusing on today? Phil 4:11
Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
