breaking the child labor laws one leaf at a time

Come on in and join us for a recap of our morning! Meet part of the work crew:

Meet the supervisor (in training):

We drove to the job site today and parked. Then we met the strict supervisor to get our job instructions on what exactly we would be doing to earn our lunch.

We got a little help in moving around the job site.

But some of the job was just plain work.

Ah well, I'm glad to have a job that has some excellent perks. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. As well as breaks and naps. And the opportunity to stay warm and clean.

The weather in Oregon today was beautiful. More like early October than late November. My husband has the week off and there are a multitude of outdoor chores that need doing but haven't been done. Neither of us has been motivated to do much of anything. But today, with the gorgeous weather and the tears that started falling, my husband decided the prescription for the tears, rather than sitting and letting even more of the fall, was to get outside and get busy. It's good for our daughter and our grandmunchkins too. And they loved it. Very happy in their work they were. It was an excellent prescription. They are all napping very soundly now and I'm going to get some knitting done so I have some hats to show soon!
