I am trying so very hard to focus on this as Christmas comes. The real reason we celebrate Christmas. I am failing many days since my focus has been, and is, on the family getting together and we are missing, aching, for the missing piece this year. But Christmas is wrapped up in the innocence of a child, a tiny baby. So thanks be to God for surrounding me with children each day.
I love getting Christmas cards and letters. And it is fun to see I'm not the only one that enjoys them.
Our tree is finally up. With Miss S in the house who is still a child in many ways and especially at Christmas, there must be the usual Christmas festivities! It's hard to stay down with her in the house. We won't be having a white Christmas this year. At least not outside. But inside there is snow on the tree! And angels. Not the snowmen this year. Angels. To help me remember there is good news at Christmas and the angels got to be the ones to announce it.
