If it's worth doing once...

....it's worth doing twice! I finished this sweater, cast on to bind off and seam up, in FIVE days. Started it on Saturday and finished it Thursday. And that was with a horrendously busy week. Just think how fast if I had the evenings to work on it! I love how it turned out and how it looks on. (I'll try and get a picture of it On soon.) It is the Reid sweater from Knitty in size two. I used Shine Sport from my stash in the Sky colorway. All the details on my ravelry page. Close up of the trim and button.
And who is going to model and wear this sweater? Why Miss 3 year old S! Such a pretty little girl and the sweater is cute but not as cute as Miss S. I hope the blue sweater brings out the beautiful blue eyes she has.

I've already got the yarn ready for a second one of these sweaters. I finished this one in record time to enter in the end of the year theme project for my knitting guild. The theme was lace knitting for 2009 and the projects were shown at last night's meeting. Mine didn't win but in a way all those that didn't win a prize did win because they had something beautiful to wear. Now on to the next one!

  1. Very cute!! Is it an online pattern or in a book? Oops, guess I should go look at Ravelry to find out, shouldn't I?
