Celebrating What's Good in America

I will never forget the tragedy of lives lost at the hands of terrorists. Nor the bravery of those that responded without thought for themselves because that's what they do. Nor the strong leadership that stepped up and led our country and gave voice of strength to the American people. Nor the military that are still fighting the war on terror. Or watching those buildings, that were a symbol of strength, fall. Especially not forget watching so many turn to the only one that could protect our nation, that blessed it in the first place: God. Watching as prayer became not just alright, but a good thing. I won't forget. I won't forget what is good about this country, which made it a target to begin with and on the tenth anniversary of 9/11, we chose to focus on who made our country blessed and great in the beginning, with our church family. We gathered to pray, to fellowship, to enjoy our family and friends and thank God above for them and for this great country we are blessed to live in. And pray that we will turn back to the God that made us great. "If my people will humble themselves and pray, I will heal their land".
